My Antarctic and Arctic construction experience has included:
Deep field research camp construction
Installation and rigging for scientific instruments
Lead sea ice and dive hut support
Propane and diesel heater installation and service
Specific trainings completed include:
Field safety, snow camping, sea ice travel
Helicopter sling load rigging
Polar bear safety
Confined space, respirator use, fall protection
Pisten Bully and snowmobile operation
As a Wilderness First Responder, I was a member of both McMurdo Station's Medical Auxiliary Team/Mass Casualty Incident preparation team and Summit Station's Emergency Response Team.Â
General construction experience includes:
Carpentry/framing - Rigging - Drywall - Roofing - Flooring - Plumbing
Equipment experience:
Skid-steer, aerial lift, scissor lift, mini excavator, and numerous power tools
Gas-powered Pionjars, jackhammers, rock haulers
